VHS Skaitmeninimas is for people in Lithuania who still keep weddings, christenings and childhood footage on shelves, but no longer own a working player.
Capture happens in Tallinn at Kasseta OÜ. From Vilnius, Kaunas or Klaipėda, tapes travel by LP Express or Lietuvos paštas. We use proper decks, not a cheap USB dongle.

Analog signal with noise gets worse every decade. Colours fade, sound hisses, mechanics seize. Digitization stops that loss.
A file can be copied, sorted and edited. Keeping family memory is practical: weddings and children's voices should not live on a single cassette.

FAQ
How long does digitization take?
Usually 10–14 working days once tapes are in Tallinn. Volume, tape condition and shipping from Lithuania change the schedule.
Can I send VHS tapes from Lithuania?
Yes. LP Express parcel lockers or Lietuvos paštas to Tallinn work well. Write first so we confirm the address and packing tips.
What file format do I get?
Usually MP4 on USB, a hard drive, or a Google Drive link. Files open on phones, TVs and computers.
What if I do not know the cassette type?
Send a photo. We recognise VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, Hi8, Digital8 and MiniDV and quote before work.
